Tip of the day: transferring files by ISOs

Users of VMware Player may be limited by program functionalities, however in our forum Kalamatee and Amigamia suggested a fine way for transferring files from host opearting system to VmwAROS. This can be functional when you have to transfer many files divided into multiple directories:

"Create an ISO in any popular ISO program with your files on and in your vmx file add the following ..
ide1:0.fileName = ""
ide1:0.deviceType = "cdrom-image"
ide1:0.autodetect = "FALSE"
ide1:0.startConnected = "TRUE"
which will add it as the secondary master. You should then just be able to access them from within AROS/Wanderer."

If you don't know how to create an ISO image, just google for 'mkisofs' or, if you're a Windows guy, just use your favourite burning software, or check for DeepBurner, that's easy and free.
