If you click on the DOWNLOAD button or links on this site, you will get a 404 ERROR. This is not my will, of course. Google's operators took this decision, disabling and hiding my download page, because they think Icaros Desktop violates I-don-t-know-what security or whatsoever community rule. Maybe this can be simply related to the fact that Icaros files are hosted on a old-school FTP space with simple HTTP links pointing to them, or maybe they REALLY consider Icaros "harmful" due to the fact that it operates on the bare metal (it's a damn OPERATING SYSTEM like Windows and Linux or MacOSX, what ever else should it do?). Since I haven't got any explanation from Google Inc., I also don't know exactly what community rules have been broken by our system which has been, by the way, happily hosted here for more than 15 years now.
I've tried appealing to this decision, but I've been jumped around forms and pages that never nailed correctly the issue. So I am even not sure my claims will be ever read from someone. In the next weeks I will probably try to find a way to import all Icaros site data from this platform and migrate to another one. This will probably break every single link on this page, making a lot of tips, tricks and documentation hard to reach. Otherwise there's very little I can do.
Google has all decision powers. Even if I put the same links o revised ones in a new page, they can take the same actions twice and more and more times, until they just get sick of my account. So I won't fight back.
If you're interested in downloading Icaros Desktop, just ask the community. You're allowed by current laws to distribute the ISOs you already have on torrents and any other file sharing system, just keep them unmodified and respect the copyrights of included software like I always did. For the time being, I am just placing the old download links, exactly as they were, on AROS EXEC and AROS WORLD as soon as I possible.
Developments on Icaros will continue, at very slooooooow pace, as they did in the latest years. Feel free to stop supporting me on Patreon, if you are doing so.
