User Amigamia posted on Arosworlds.org's VmwAROS forum a trick to convert Beta 0.1's virtual hard disk to QEMU format, in order to run VmwAROS also on this open source virtualization technology (here's his screenshot).
Although I don't personally encourage this way of using VmwAROS (which is tailored to VMware specs and performance level), it may be a good way to work-around any VMware issue. Users that prefer QEMU, and won't install anything else for any reason, may try this:
