The newer version of VmwAROS is slowly shaping up. I've downloaded some new applications for AROS and also recovered some old ones from the last version of AROS-MAX. Some of them are correctly working, so I decided to include them, while others are broken, so their future will remain uncertain at least until anyone will decide to check their sources and recompile them. The only sure thing is that the newer version of VmwAROS, whose v.-number is still undecided, will be somehow different from the current one. First of all, I'm adding support for multimedia apps, whose section was practically void in former releases: unluckily the VMware version won't almost certainly get sound support (I'm not the one who waits for miracles, but I don't close the door to them completely), but VmwAROS LIVE! users will finally be able to use their SB Live! soundcard (or any other AROS supported one) to play some music with AROS, and that will be fine.
